In New Zealand, we are privileged to have our own national language and this is something that should be celebrated and embraced.

To celebrate Māori language week, insurance company MAS were keen to use the opportunity to share a language that is near and dear to all of our hearts. Together we created a useful digital and printed guide that translates key insurance terms into Te Reo Māori.

Te Reo Inihua / The language of insurance is a guide that lasts well beyond Māori language week so the language can be brought into our every day, not just one week. So, don’t be shy, give it a try.

The Te Reo Inihua initiative was named as a finalist in the Cultural Celebration category at the 2020 Diversity awards.
